The agronomy layer that stops a spray becoming a rejected consignment.
Scouting, sprays and nutrient plans — with automatic harvest and re-entry holds.
Crop protection is where record-keeping stops being administrative and starts being commercial. Spray a block, harvest it too early, and the residue that shows up at the packhouse costs you the consignment — sometimes the buyer. Send a worker back into a treated block too soon and it costs you far more than that.
FuroField treats the pre-harvest interval (PHI) and re-entry interval (REI) as enforced state, not a note in a book. Record an application and the platform holds harvest and re-entry on that block until the intervals clear, and shows you the status of every block on one screen.
Intervals live in people's heads, and heads are not auditable
Most farms know their withholding periods. What they don't have is a system that connects the spray record to the harvest decision at the moment the decision is made — usually by a different person, days later, under time pressure.
- The person deciding to harvest isn't the person who recorded the spray
- Withholding periods tracked in a notebook, a spreadsheet or nobody's memory
- No single view of which blocks are safe to harvest or enter today
- Nothing to show an auditor that the interval was actually observed
From first record to something you can act on
Scout the block
Log pests, disease, weeds, nutrient deficiency or beneficials with severity and incidence, against the growth stage. Each report carries a recommended action and stays open until it's resolved.
Record the application
Capture the product, rate and target. The product's pre-harvest and re-entry intervals come with it, so the record is complete at the point of entry.
Holds apply automatically
FuroField computes when harvest and re-entry clear for that block and holds them until then. Nobody has to remember, and nobody has to calculate.
Read the whole farm at a glance
A colour-coded view answers the only question that matters at 6am: which blocks can I harvest, and which can I send people into, today?
In detail
IPM scouting log
Pest, disease, weed, deficiency and beneficial observations with severity, incidence percentage and growth stage — an integrated pest management record, not a note.
Automatic PHI enforcement
Harvest is held on a treated block until the pre-harvest interval for that product has elapsed.
Automatic REI enforcement
Re-entry is held for the product's re-entry interval, protecting the people who work the block.
Block restriction view
Per-field harvest and re-entry status — clear, in REI, or in PHI — across the whole operation on one screen.
Nutrient & fertigation plans
Build programmes by growth stage with target rate, unit and method — broadcast, band, fertigation or foliar — then mark items applied as they're done.
Resolution tracking
Scouting reports move from open to resolved with the action taken, so a recurring problem is visible as a pattern rather than a series of unrelated notes.

About agronomy & crop protection
Does this replace my agronomist?
No — it gives them a better record to work from. FuroField captures what was observed, what was applied and when the intervals clear; your agronomist still makes the calls.
What if a product's interval differs by crop?
Intervals are recorded against the application, so the figure that applied on the day is the figure that's enforced and the figure that's kept for audit.
Can I override a hold?
Holds exist to be visible. The value is that a decision to proceed is deliberate and recorded, rather than an accident caused by nobody knowing an interval was running.
